Have you ever done something so embarrassing you want the earth to just open up in front of you and swallow you whole?

I tripped up a flight of stairs. In front of students who found my embarrassment very funny.

I was able to laugh it off at the time but sitting and thinking about it I wish I had not done that. As a new teacher image is important, I want my students to take me seriously. And now I'm the teacher who is lame enough he falls UP stairs!

This will follow me for a long time, won't it?
